Becoming a certified practitioner in The Dilyn Way

Digital Transformation is happening all around us, in our personal lives and professional lives. It is happening organically, but we are seeing more and more Digital Transformation projects, programmes and organisational wide initiatives becoming top agenda items for executives.

Digital transformation success rates are not increasing as a result. Even in 2020 they continue to fall. The answer is becoming clearer and clearer. Our positioning of leadership, our current leadership profile and the way we develop, identify and recruit our leaders of the future still tend to follow and hold onto industrial legacy ideas and frameworks.

Enter - The Dilyn Way

The Dilyn Way is a best practice framework for leading in a digital age. This is not a 'throw the baby out with the dirty bath water' approach. We all recognise that frameworks, methods and models are needed to support digital transformation. The Dilyn Way exists as a support framework to ensure that leadership is prioritised and a direct connection between leadership profile and digital transformation success is made.

If you are a practitioner in HR or OD, a CIO, CDO or transformation lead trying to ensure the success of digital transformation within your ecosystem - then becoming a practitioner could be really valuable to you or perhaps some members of your team.

Equally, if you are an executive leadership coach, mentor or even a board member supporting executive teams with sustainability and relevance in a digital age The Dilyn Way can further enhance your ability to help others unlock their leadership potential.

Becoming a practitioner takes you through two parallel streams as part of an online programme: A personal journey of digital transformation to unlock your full potential as a leader of a digital age and role model for driving digital transformation. You also become a certified practitioner in the framework itself, so that you are able to design, development and deploy the framework tools yourself.  This could be anything from profiling and coaching your CEO through to delivering digital age leadership training for an HR team.

The Dilyn Way practitioner certification is becoming recognised as the missing link in the digital transformation framework portfolio that include Agile, Lean, Systems Leadership and others.

That's enough from us - let's hear from the practitioners themselves!

My story

“Before entering the Digital Age Leadership Practitioner Programme, I knew there was more to digital than just the tech. Through its seven principles this programme has allowed me to explore all aspects of digital, where I stand on my own path to greater understanding and ideas for how I can develop further. As a leader in ICT I already understood a lot of the new technologies, but I wasn’t living digital myself. I have learnt that to be a leader in the modern world you need to fully immerse yourself in digital.” “For most of my career I have been seen as an expert in tech. Becoming a Practitioner in Digital Age Leadership allows me to go beyond this and assist leaders in other fields to embrace this new, often frightening but very exciting, digital age.”

My story

“By understanding my own approach first then becoming a Digital Age Practitioner I feel equipped to help others to develop their own Digital Age Journey.” “What I found different about the approach is that Its not about abandoning your leadership style but using the principles within The Dilyn Way framework to allow leaders to focus their current strengths and areas to develop for their future as a Digital Age Leader.”

My story

"The Digital Age Leadership Practitioner Programme from Adapt2Digital is a fantastic training resource that provides practical and detailed insight into what it means to be a leader in a digitised world. The programme covers theory, practice and feedback – combining a unique profiling tool, practical exercises, regular check-ins with a coach-mentor, and links to further materials – and focuses on the mindset and behaviours essential for leaders to demonstrate. Participants can work through the programme at their own pace and share experiences and thoughts with a community of practice, as well as their coach-mentor. Taking part in the Programme has been invaluable for my own coaching and mentoring work, and I highly recommend this programme to anyone interested in supporting others to develop the best practice leadership profile that will allow them to deliver real success. My story

“The Digital Age Leadership Practitioner Programme has provided me with an essential framework and tool for the professional development of the Digital Leader. The impact of the Dilyn Way Digital Mindset Assessment and the accompanying 7 Principles of Modern Leadership is visible immediately. When using the tools and methods with individual leaders, they are provided with the essential first step to define and develop their digital age leadership profile to support them as a future-ready leader. When used in the strategic context for digital change and transformation, and executive leadership development, it provides a powerful framework for anchoring deep change. To drive a shift in the way people think, act and react in the digital age.”
